The inaugural Global Citizen Festival in Ghana commemorates the 65th anniversary of the nation’s independence.
Accra’s Global Citizen Festival in Black Star Square will bring together musicians and world leaders to advance an ambitious policy agenda focused on empowering girls and women, defending the environment, and bringing about change in this spirit of self-determination and solidarity.
Nigerian female Afrobeat singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage was also present to entertained patrons of the festival.
Tiwa Savage brought down Accra in her Nigerian style at the show by giving the crowd her hit songs liked up one after the other.
The performance was entertaining until the DJ started playing “Korroba”, turning the whole venue into a jam arena.
