Fast Rising singer, Black Sheriff has revealed that his friend who happens to be a Nigerian dancer, Poco Lee introduced him to African Giant, Burnaboy which gave a great advantage in his career.
Black Sherif, who got a cosign from Burnaboy, explains how he was able to make the collaboration between Burna and himself possible for the remix of “Second Sermon”. He revealed this during a TV interview in his motherland, Ghana.
The Ghanaian star said he got to know Burna Boy through Poco Lee who was already a fan. He stipulates that Poco Lee would have probably played his songs for Burna Boy (while on tour, dancing for the African Giant), enough for him to receive a WhatsApp text from someone on Burnaboy’s team which contained the news of Burna fancying his music and wanting to be on a video call with him. He accepted the invite and the rest is history.
“Second Sermon (Remix)” was released on Friday, 10th of December and immediately has grown to be a smash hit across boarders. The singer is also the man of the moment with his ‘Kwaku The Traveler’ which currently trends across all social media platforms..
