The mother of one of the victims that died in the truck accident at Ojodu Grammar School has recounted her last moments with her only child, Adedoyin Adebayo.
Bukola Adebayo and the victim’s father, Adeyemi Adebayo, narrated their experiences during a visit to her home by Channels TV.
You may recall the recent truck accident in the Ojodu Berger area of Lagos State that left some students injured while a few students got killed. Some relatives of the deceased victims have since recounted how they discovered the death of their loved ones.
Discussing his daughter’s demise, Adeyemi said, “I saw my daughter’s bag on the floor as soon as I entered, and I identified the bag.
I was given a phone to identify my daughter, and I said God is good after realizing she was one of the casualties. She is my only child, and she was a science student. Where do I start from?”
Adeyemi reportedly discovered his daughter’s death at IDH in Yaba after searching multiple hospitals.
Narrating her last moments with Adedoyin, Bukola said, “My daughter called me to hug her the morning before a truck killed her. I was already at the gate, but she called me back.”
