A video making the rounds on social media shows Senator Rochas Okorocha praying with his family at the time operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC stormed his house on Tuesday.
The operatives surrounded his Abuja house on Tuesday with the aim of arresting him, but he barricaded himself indoors.
They insisted that the former Governor of Imo state should submit himself for arrest or honour a long-standing invitation to their office.
In a live video recording from the moment the EFCC were at his house, Okorocha could be seen laying with his face to the ground and praying. He and his family also broke into a praise and worship session.
”Come to my rescue. Come and help me my lord and my God,” he prayed.
Channels TV reports that EFCC arrested him after hours of waiting.
