Veteran Nigerian actress, Folake Aremu, popularly known as Orisabunmi, was one of those prominent Nigerian celebrities who lost their lives earlier this year. The actress died on 5 January 2021 at the age of 60. Her sudden demise was confirmed by her family members.

 

Jim Lawson Maduike

The veteran actor also passed away in January this year. He reportedly died on January 9, 2021, after severe body pain.

 

David Mela

A fast-rising Nigerian actor, David Mela, died on January 11, 2021. The cause of his demise was unknown as he was reported to have died of an undisclosed ailment.

 

Dan Nkoloagu

The veteran actor who is known for playing the role of a native doctor in most Igbo movies died on January 22, 2021. His son announced the sad news on Facebook. He died at the age of 83.

 

Ernest Asuzu

Actor Ernest died on January 26, 2021, after he slumped and never woke up again. His wife confirmed the sudden demise of the actor to the Nation.

 

Victor Decker

He was found dead in his apartment by his neighbour on February 15, 2021. The cause of his demise was, however, unknown as he died at age 72.

Rachael Oniga

The veteran actress died on July 30, 2021, of a heart-related ailment. She reportedly passed away at the age of 64.

 

Baba Suwe

Babatunde Omidina, popularly known as Baba Suwe, died on November 22, 2021. The news about his death was confirmed by the President of the Theatre Arts and Motion Picture Producers Association of Nigeria, Bolaji Amusan. The late comic actor died at the age of 63 of an undisclosed reason.
